It’s Official! Algorand Wallet is now Pera Wallet.
We are very excited to announce that as of today, Algorand Wallet is relaunching under a new brand: Pera Wallet. This is much more than a new name and logo; We are relaunching the most popular wallet in the Algorand ecosystem with a renewed focus on our roadmap, partner integrations and community.
Despite the fresh new look, the team behind Pera Wallet is the same team that has been building and maintaining the Algorand Wallet for the past 3 years. Hipo, in collaboration with Algorand, has been developing the beloved wallet since its launch in 2019. With this transition to Pera Wallet, Hipo is also taking over operations and partnership integrations, while continuing to design and develop the mobile apps and infrastructure.
Another thing that’s not changing is Pera Wallet’s commitment to open source development and being a core partner to other products in the Algorand ecosystem. With our renewed focus, we will closely listen to our community and focus our efforts on building features that benefit our users and other successful projects in this space.
At Pera, we believe that transparency and openness leads to a thriving ecosystem and better products. With this in mind, we also would like to share our roadmap for the next 6 months:
Q1 2022
- Pera Wallet launch with a fresh new look and improved interface, and most importantly our aggregated account values calculator.
- NFT support, with ability to see NFTs in every account, as well as in an aggregated gallery of all NFTs across accounts.
- MoonPay on-ramp and off-ramp integration for easy Algo purchase and sell actions.
- Revamped verification process and public ASA portal for investment research.
Q2 2022
- Tinyman integration for swapping assets directly from within the apps.
- Improved Governance support, with better messaging, notifications on governance periods and voting sessions and governor status warnings during transfers.
- Aggregated, per account and asset-specific historical charts and other trading features.
Q3 2022
- Pera Wallet web support, with an integrated wallet you can use directly from your web browser, in harmony with your mobile wallet.
- Other partner integrations within the Algorand ecosystem.

Our updated iOS and Android apps will be rolling out to all users over the next few days. We are doing a slow rollout to make sure everything runs smoothly.
